Dr. Toby Green played by
BRUCE GREENWOOD. The sudden disappearance of
Dr. Lawrence from the hospital while he was in a session with
Michael provokes a complete inquiry by
Dr. Green who is the director of the hospital. It is a suspense movie that holds its own until the shocking end. The strong points of the movie are the excellent performances. Xavier Dolan is perfectly casted as a mischievous and disturbed young man whose personal story of neglect and fear we uncover as the investigation evolves. Although the actor's portrayals of the characters are strong, there are some characters that do nothing for the story like
Olivia played by
CARRIE-ANNE MOSS. She is the second wife of
Dr. Green but this sidebar into the life of
Dr. Green makes no sense. Fortunately it does not distract too much from our desire to solve the mystery presented to us and that is the heart of the movie.
I was utterly impressed with Xavier Dolan's performance and the film merits to be seen just for that.

Dr. Green, le directeur de l'hôpital. C'est un film de suspense qui nous garde en haleine jusqu'à sa fin choquante. Les performances des comédiens sont excellentes. Xavier Dolan est parfaitement bien choisi pour le rôle d'un jeune homme espiègle et dérangé dont on découvre l'histoire de négligence parentale et de terreur alors que se poursuit l'investigation. Sa performance est si bien équilibrée et juste que le film mérite d'être vu juste pour ça.
La version française est présentée avec sous-titres.
